Thanks to this program, I was able to successfully complete secondary school at St. Joseph’s School, Rapogi, attaining a mean grade of A(Plain) in the 2024 Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (K.C.S.E) exam.
Without your gracious support, all of this would have been nothing more than a dream.
I am glad to have been admitted to Egerton University to pursue a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB).

My name is Kaela Walsh, a recent graduate of Memorial University, Newfoundland, where I earned my BSc. in Biology with a minor in Psychology. Inspired by my involvement with MUNHOPE (Memorial University Health Outreach Promotion & Education)—an organization affiliated with the IHOPE Foundation—I embarked on a life-changing journey to Migori, Kenya. Though initially uncertain, my experience has been nothing short of transformative, filled with warm welcomes, rich cultural exchanges, and meaningful work.
